Job Description:

This position is responsible for supporting our client’s high level objectives for acquisition, retention, up-sell, cross-sell, and profitability (ROI) by providing the appropriate analysis and interpretation to efficiently deliver actionable insights.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct analyses answering specific questions for our clients about their brands, products, competitors, or marketing campaigns
  • Formulate data into a variety of analysis and presentation formats that best match the client’s needs

  • Interact in a dynamic, team-based work environment to achieve company goals

  • Understand client’s business objectives

  • This job encompasses a breadth of challenging problem solving including:

    • Analyzing and developing complex data systems; documenting data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies

    • Becoming an expert on client data and understand their business

  • Execute prescribed analytic approach for various client needs including pre/post campaign analysis, measuring and analyzing response to marketing offers and making appropriate recommendations on enhancements to campaign strategy.

  • Demonstrate ownership of your work and the project

  • Summarize analytic data into user-friendly reports translating highly technical, detailed data into appropriate recommendations for marketing execution.

  • Manipulate and transform data necessary to meet all analysis and modeling needs.

  • Provide tactical marketing and analytic support to clients including:

    • customer profiling

    • segmentation

    • customer lifetime value analysis

    • predictive modeling,

    • customer and business trend analysis

    • In-depth campaign assessment.

  • Assume other responsibilities as requested.

Experience and Skills:

  • Assertive personality with a solid work ethic and initiative, requiring minimal direction

  • High energy and drive, coupled with the resourcefulness required to succeed in client start-up environments

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) in business, statistics, mathematics or other relevant quantitative field or equivalent experience

  • Strong orientation towards problem solving.

  • Knowledge and/or applied experience in multivariate statistics including multiple regression, logistic regression, survival data analysis and experimental test design.

  • Superior analytic skills with the ability to distill data into relevant customer insights.

  • Familiar with SQL programming

  • Experience with statistical programming (R, SAS)

  • Self-motivated, with drive to complete assignments efficiently, exceed expectations and grow own career

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to QC production processes and ad hoc requests

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey results, explain issues, drive resolution, and develop requirements with non-technical internal and external clients

  • Ability to quickly identify and address quality control issues in data sets and reports

  • Understanding of customer segmentation, forecasting, and media/channel optimization and how they relate to marketing strategy is highly desired

  • Proficiency with standard office productivity software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Must be authorized to work in the US

  • Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment

  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete assignments efficiently

  • Detail oriented with drive to exceed expectations and grow own career
