Job Description:

As a Programmer Analyst, you will work closely with other members of our Data Sciences and Strategic & Analytic Services teams to develop and deliver data and analyses that support strategic and actionable recommendations for our clients.

  • Full-time position
  • Analyze and record issues, collaborating with other programmers to fix code problems

  • Demonstrated grasp of programming languages

  • Develop and support processes in SAS, SQL, & Python

  • Modify and migrate legacy code to change control environment

  • Create controls and on-going monitoring reports

  • Develop program logic for new applications and analyze and modify logic in existing applications.

  • Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain processes.

  • Plan, design, develop, test, and implement code to address business requirements

  • Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code

  • Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented.

  • Analyze and translate business requirements into code.

  • Writes technical specifications and other forms of documentation.

  • Develop and support data interfaces between internal and external systems

  • Participate in code reviews and make recommendations on best practices

  • Execute data processing steps and perform appropriate quality assurance measures

  • Take active responsibility in the goal of eliminating errors in completed client requests by following and/or improving quality control practices

  • Assume other responsibilities as requested

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, statistics, mathematics or other relevant quantitative field or equivalent experience

  • 1-2 years related experience

  • High energy and drive

  • Self-motivated, with drive to complete assignments efficiently

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to QC production processes and ad hoc requests

  • Ability to quickly identify and address quality control issues in data sets and reports

  • Accuracy, timeliness, and ability to meet tight deadline constraints.

  • Experience with SAS, SQL, and Python preferred

  • Must be authorized to work in the US
